EIS ACADEMY

EIS Academy is responsible for the management of independent living skills, communication skills, and the health of people with disabilities
who are 18 years of age or older (down syndrome, autism, and intellectual disabilities).
It is a non-profit Dayhab institution.
Through different programs such as sports, Zumba, music, art, yoga, Counseling, equipment, coffee lessons, English conversation,
news (local, Korea, world), cooking classes, computers, and seasonal events like valentine day, fall festival, local festivals and Christmas,
students with disabilities enjoy their lives.
* Academy hours: 9:00 am-3:00 pm (Mon-Fri), open all year (excluding national holidays)
EIS ACADEMY 3 CORE VALUES

1. Independent Living Skill
These are the skills each individual needs in their daily lives.
Teaching content and methods are individually planned according to the individual's ability and disability.
Through this education, each individual learns how to live independently at home.
Here's what you learn: Eating, using the toilet, putting on and taking off, grooming, dental care, personal daily routine, schedule management, working on your own, preventing accidents, first aid,
Shopping, caring for others, caring for pets, caring for others, moving around, how to talk at home, preparing meals,
cleaning up, appropriate manners.
2. Communication Living Skill
It is a necessary social skill that each individual needs in order to live with others. In this class, you will learn how to make friends, how to maintain friends, how to use transportation, how to manage money, how to solve problems in interpersonal relationships, how to work together as a team, how to communicate appropriately and effectively in public, Signal
3. Health & Fitness
In order to manage your own health and maintain a healthy lifestyle, you will learn how to exercise personal health,
maintain weight, maintain nutrition, manage teamwork as a group, and maintain proper personal hygiene.
